Privacy Protocol.
Process protects the record. Not people.
1. Information Control
Your data is stored securely and remains protected at all times. Records are encrypted before storage and remain unreadable to JournalistDesk staff. Only authorized users inside your organization can view and manage workspace content. Access permissions are defined and controlled by your organization, not by JournalistDesk.
2. Record Reliability
Every file and entry maintains a verifiable history from creation to update. This supports accuracy, accountability, and long term trust across projects, reviews, and professional audits.
3. Clean Data Handling
Uploaded materials are processed to remove unnecessary background data before storage. This reduces accidental exposure of hidden information and supports responsible source protection.
4. Independent Operations
JournalistDesk does not operate advertising systems, sell data, or connect workspaces to external platforms. Your environment remains dedicated exclusively to your organization and its approved users.
5. Authentication and Access Security
Users access JournalistDesk through Google authorization. Password handling stays with Google, not with JournalistDesk. This reduces password exposure risk and strengthens account security through a trusted identity provider.
